Today Mrs Tate took the kids from her class last year out to harvest the kumara and garlic.
First they listened carefully to Mrs Tate and Graeme. Then they started to harvest the garlic. The kids put all of the garlic in a bucket.
After that they started harvesting the kumara. The kumara were placed into piles. There were heaps of kumara - about 78 were counted!
Last of all the kumara were put into a box.
Natalie from the Franklin News came to see our harvest and she took photos of us too.

when we planted the kumara in room7 we first diged a little hole then we put in the plants.then it grow.ofa
